I build intelligent software systems and research how AI can transform the way we write and understand code. Currently pursuing a PhD at VU Amsterdam, I bring over a decade of backend engineering experience and a passion for mentoring, teaching, and creative expression through Marathi poetry.

Senior AI Engineer — Carv
2025 – presentOwned the Candidate Sourcing feature from research to customer delivery. Built with LangGraph, RAG, and LangSmith for implementation and tracing. Hands-on with A2A, skills-based agents. Designed and implemented bias/fairness testing for compliance.
Software Engineer — Crunchr
2020 – 2024Owned the user and group management feature end-to-end. Worked on external API design, built an LLM-based assistant for the people analytics product, and developed an in-house data connector with a custom ETL pipeline.
PhD Research — VU Amsterdam
2016 – presentResearch on Knowledge Graphs, query answering, and embedding-based link prediction at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Backend Engineering — Amazon
2013 – 2016Deployed server software in a large-scale distributed system (EBS). Performance benchmarking, root-cause analysis, data-replication bug fixes, and a data-migration protocol for server recovery.
Mentoring & Teaching — HackYourFuture
2016 – 2022Volunteered for 6 years at HackYourFuture, teaching Git, command line, and databases to refugees. Delivered weekly lectures, mentored students for tech interviews, and recently contributed to the Cloud Development curriculum for new cohorts.
